The Nordmin Group of Companies is dedicated to the communities where we live and do business as well as our global community. We strive to be good corporate citizens both from a philanthropic point of view as well as a good neighbour. Nordmin is actively involved in several fundraising initiatives, locally, nationally and internationally. Locally, our employees can participate in a monthly giving program through payroll deductions, matched by Nordmin. Last year our employee giving program supported Shelter House, Thunder Bay Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity, the food bank and Our Kids Count.
Nordmin have participated in the Big Bike for Heart & Stroke and have been a top fundraising team in Thunder Bay by raising over $10,700.
Each November several employees participate in the Movember fundraiser and for 30 days, grow a moustache to raise funds for men’s health. Team Nordmin has finished first in all of Canada for the Engineering Challenge by raising over $19,000 for men’s health!
